Bonded neodymium iron boron magnets are mainly made by mixing neodymium iron boron alloy powder with epoxy resin and pressing it, which has the following characteristics:
1. High magnetic properties: The magnetic energy product can reach 10-13MGOe, which is much higher than sintered ferrite magnets. It is a high magnetic energy isotropic magnet with excellent consistency and stability.
2. High dimensional accuracy and large degree of freedom in shape: The shape and size of the product are guaranteed by the mold, and can be directly formed into free shapes such as circular, tile, and block shapes, without the need for sintering and post mechanical processing.
3. Good corrosion resistance: After electrophoretic coating or some special treatment, it can be used for long-term in daily or harsh environments.
4. Flexible and diverse magnetization: The magnetic poles can be charged into multiple poles, oblique poles, and radial directions. The magnetization surface can be an inner circle, an outer circle, an end face, or a composite magnetization, and the waveform can be a square wave or a sine wave.
Bonded neodymium iron boron magnets are mainly used in various miniature permanent magnet motors, such as spindle motors, stepper motors, synchronous motors, DC motors, brushless DC motors, and are also widely used in various sensor components. Combination magnetic circuits can be partially used to replace sintered neodymium iron boron magnets and sintered ferrite magnets, making the assembly process of the motor simpler, more reliable, with lower costs and higher efficiency.
